We endeavour to have a responsive curriculum which follows student’s interests and needs. Inquiry learning underpins our Literacy programme as well as allowing us to explore the Science, Technology, Arts and Social Science areas of the curriculum.
In 2017, we started our journey as an Enviroschool. We have strengthened and developed practices that are helping our school to be more sustainable. Along with maintaining our waste management systems, we had a school wide focus on replenishing an area of our school playground to promote biodiversity in our local environment. This has included replanting native trees and creating welcoming homes for native birds and bees. We are continuing to look at environmental issues beyond our school gates including; pest control, bee health, sustainable farming and business practices, sand dune restoration and marine life preservation.
